After photographing Lisa and Mark's wedding, I had the great privilege of creating a portrait for Lisa's Grandmother. She doesn't speak a word of english but we got along just fine with some translation help through Lisa.

This was one of the images I took on my trip to Sudbury a couple weeks ago to speak to the Professional Photographers of Ontario, North-Eastern Ontario Branch. It was great being invited up to talk about my successes and share ideas with other professional photographers.

Lisa and Mark were married on September 19, 2009 at Michael Chau's Piano Emporium in Vaughn, Ontario. The piano shop provided a unique background to the wedding and the $100K Grand Piano was a VERY nice prop! I really love this image though - note Lisa's choice of footwear.

I think the greatest challenge for a photographer is photographing another artist... especially an artist that works in a different 'medium' than you do. Corey is a musician, a young musician, with loads of talent and a lifetime of creativity ahead of him. How do you photograph something like that?
